robots.txt blocks DuckAssistBot (DuckDuckGo AI Assist)

DuckAssistBot is the live-fetch crawler behind DuckDuckGo's AI Assist feature (also called Duck.ai), which reads a page in real time to help answer a search query. This check found robots.txt disallowing DuckAssistBot. It's a smaller AI surface than the major search engines, but the fix costs nothing either way. Blocking DuckAssistBot removes your site from DuckDuckGo's AI-generated answers. DuckDuckGo has a smaller but privacy-focused user base that specifically seeks out non-Google search, so this is a lower-severity gap than blocking a major crawler, but it's still free traffic and citations left on the table for no real benefit. Your developer needs about 15 minutes. Allow DuckAssistBot in robots.txt unless the block is a deliberate choice. Since DuckDuckGo draws a smaller but loyal, privacy-focused audience, this is a low-effort fix worth clearing even if it isn't your top priority right now.
