Article or blog content was detected, but no publication date is marked up in the page structured data or visible as a standard date element. Publication dates tell search engines and AI tools when the content was written. AI answer engines prefer to cite content with a clear, verifiable date because it signals freshness and credibility. Undated content is treated as less authoritative and is less likely to appear in AI-generated answers. Add a visible publication date to each article page and include datePublished and dateModified fields in your article structured data (schema.org). Most content management systems have a built-in field for this.
