Contact form missing privacy link or consent checkbox
One or more forms on this site collect personal information (name, email, phone) without displaying a visible link to the privacy policy or a checkbox confirming the visitor consents to their data being used. Under GDPR (which applies to any EU or UK visitor) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you must inform people how their data will be used before they submit a form. Missing this creates regulatory risk and also visibly reduces trust — many visitors will abandon a form that gives no indication of how their data is handled. Add a brief note below each form (for example "We'll use your details only to respond to your enquiry — see our Privacy Policy") with a hyperlink to your privacy policy. For marketing opt-in forms, also add a checkbox confirming consent.
Why this matters
Under GDPR (which applies to any EU or UK visitor) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you must inform people how their data will be used before they submit a form. Missing this creates regulatory risk and also visibly reduces trust — many visitors will abandon a form that gives no indication of how their data is handled.
How to fix it
Add a brief note below each form (for example "We'll use your details only to respond to your enquiry — see our Privacy Policy") with a hyperlink to your privacy policy. For marketing opt-in forms, also add a checkbox confirming consent.
