Author byline schema lacks credential signals (E-E-A-T)
E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) is the framework Google and AI answer engines use to judge whether content was written by someone qualified to write it. This check found your page names an author in its schema, but that author's Person entity carries no credential signals: no jobTitle, hasCredential (a qualification or certification), alumniOf, sameAs profile links, or knowsAbout topics. The byline is essentially just a name with nothing backing it up.
Why this matters
Google's E-E-A-T guidance encourages content where the author's expertise can be demonstrated, not just claimed. A named byline with no supporting credentials is a weaker trust signal, particularly for advice-driven or YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) topics such as health, finance or legal content. How AI tools choose which pages to cite is not publicly documented.
How to fix it
Your developer needs about 30-45 minutes per author. Enrich the author's Person schema with jobTitle, hasCredential for any relevant qualifications, alumniOf for their education, sameAs links to their LinkedIn or professional profile, and knowsAbout listing their subject areas, so the byline is backed by verifiable facts rather than just a name.
